Episode 026 - The Truth About the "TRUTH"

2020 has been a hell of a ride, #amirite?!

There’s been a lot of information (and misinformation), upheaval, change, progress and evolution. It’s had major highs and breakthroughs (hello, #blm movement!) and lots of lows (lockdown, anyone?).

And everyone has an opinion about what’s gone down this year. This is a good thing, of course, but it gets a little iffy when our differing opinions begin to affect our relationships. That’s what this episode is all about!

In this episode, I dive deep into some of the hot topics of 2020 like the Covid19 and the US Election as examples of how we can all have differing opinions and still have deep love and respect for each other. In particular, I cover:

  • How divided the world has felt in 2020

  • What truth really means and how it's different for us all

  • Ways we can be more kind, compassionate and respectful of one another

  • The danger in the division

  • My own personal failings in this area and how I'm trying to do better

  • How each of us can ultimately get what we want and need

I hope that this episode lands with the love and compassion it was created with! We are all human beings and we all want to feel loved, accepted and understood. I hope this episode helps you see the world from a broader perspective and makes it easier to love another person even if, and especially when, they don't have the same opinion as you!
