Episode 033 - "Narcissist," "gaslighting" and other social media buzzwords

Everyone’s a narcissist these days, hey?!

I am so incredibly tired of hearing people use this term - especially on social media.

I’m tired of it simply because I don’t think that it’s a term that’s meant to be used by the masses and I feel it’s often used incorrectly. This goes along with other terms like “gaslighting” and “anxious/avoidant attachment” all of which I discuss in today’s episode of the podcast.

Take a journey with me as we discuss why these terms shouldn’t be used willy-nilly, how a lot of them are being used incorrectly and the long-term consequences of these psychological terms being used on #socialmedia.

What did you think of this episode?

Are you guilty of using these terms too lightly to describe people you know or situations you’ve been in? Now that we’ve dived a bit deeper into the terminology, do these words feel like an accurate description of your situation? I’m curious to hear!
