Episode 034 - Releasing perfectionism on your personal development journey
Oops, I did it again!
This weekend at the beach with friends, I put my foot in my mouth and said some things I probably shouldn’t have. Worse than that I left an energetic imprint that I never want to leave people with. I was negative and a bit heavy and, let’s be honest, that’s SO NOT a vibe.
When I realized this, though, I swung completely in the opposite direction - basically expecting perfection from myself in all my future interactions with all people, ever.
I’m all for #beingourbestselves, but not at the expense of our sanity and certainly not at the expense of our humanity.
We are human beings first.
We’re going to grow and evolve and shift and that’s a good thing.
And along the way we are also going to mess things up - sometimes big time!
And that’s okay!
Dive into this episode to hear how I put my foot in it, how I reacted and what I learned from everything in the end.
